How Fights Start............

My wife sat down on the couch next to me as I was flipping channels. She asked, 'What's on the TV?' I said, 'Dust.' And then the fight started... ****************************************** My wife and I were watching "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" while we were in bed.. I turned to her and said, "Do you want to have sex?" "No," she answered. I then said, "Is that your final answer?" She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying, "Yes." So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend." And then the fight started.... ****************************************** Saturday morning I got up early, quietly dressed, made my lunch, and slipped quietly into the garage. I hooked up the boat up to the van, and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour. The wind was blowing 50 mph, so I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad all day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed. I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, "The weather out there is terrible." My loving wife of 5 years replied, "Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that?" And that's how the fight started... ****************************************** I rear-ended a car this morning.. So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car. You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny? Yeah, well I couldn't believe it.... He was a DWARF!!! He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, "I AM NOT HAPPY!!!" So, I looked down at him and said, "Well, then which one are you?" And then the fight started..... ***************************************** My wife was hinting about what she wanted for our upcoming anniversary. She said, 'I want something shiny that goes from 0 to 150 in about 3 seconds.' I bought her a bathroom scale. And then the fight started... ****************************************** After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's License to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later. The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt'. So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She said, 'That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me' and she processed my Social Security application. When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office. She said, 'You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten disability, too.' And then the fight started.... ****************************************** My wife and I were sitting at a table at my school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table. My wife asked, 'Do you know her?' 'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.' 'My God!' says my wife, 'who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?' And then the fight started... ****************************************** I took my wife to a restaurant. The waiter, for some reason took my order first. "I'll have the steak, medium rare, please.." He said, "Aren't you worried about the mad cow?"" Nah, she can order for herself." And then the fight started... ****************************************** A woman was standing nude, looking in the bedroom mirror. She was not happy with what she saw and said to her husband, "I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly. I really need you to pay me a compliment.' The husband replied, 'Your eyesight's damn near perfect.' And then the fight started......

why do all political parties resist the call for 'none of the above ' on ballot slips ? is it really just a real fear of ALL being refused power and benefits?

after all they have it in USA and it works !! why not do what many are now doing and vote for any lunatic party or spoil the voting slip.?

ps a spoilt voting slip is ONLY ever counted by having a very large cross from corner to corner (s) on it and NOT by scribbling etc ( in which case it is simply not counted and thrown away)

I'm into Films and write my own Screenplays and Scripts don't have any made into Films yet though am working towards that and a make over of my Grammer and Dialogue.

It's one of things I've always wanted to do since my childhood days.

That's something else I do in my time as a Hobby well it started of as a Hobby now I take it further not just a Hobby.

I like Science Fiction the most also Action and Horror some comedy not into Romance nor Thrillers.

I don't want fame just to get my Screenplays made into Films for the Cinema and out on Dvd is my dream since my childhood days.

From my opinion I think their pretty excellent Titles if I don't say so my self.

Just a general gripe about Mods and Hosts and the attitude to swearing. It seems some hosts have their own rules on this. I understand certain words should NOT be used ever but, as an 18+ site surely i am allowed to act as an adult in an adult site regarding language? So i get warned about the s word one time and yet in another room a mod uses the MF word and nothing is said. Sometimes i get a "Do As i Say Not Do AS i Do" mentailty with certain Mods regarding this.

hey i'm a 'newbie' here lol oh gosh... I'll firstly start off by warning you as i'm rather straight forward & formal with introductions.

Hey I'm Dannyo I thought I would explore the interweb some more, widen the harison so to speak! I've joined WocChat to hopefully meet new people & have a giggle...! I'm 19: soon to be 20 later on this year, currently in college doing a btec national diploma - IT for Practitioners, shall finish in under a month.

I'll hopefully then turn my attention to another trading job which is plumming, that would mean returning to college and a further couple years of studying whilst I have a PT job in my first trading job. Right now I'm subsiding South west in east Swindon.

Im Doby, I am an Articulated lorry driver in the Uk, I am Married and have 2 step children and one of my own, I come form the south of England, Portsmouth, I lived in Omagh Co Tyrone N,ireland for 10 years whilst growing up, until I left school and Joined the Royal Navy as an Aircraft Handler, these guys deal with aircraft manouvers on Aircraft Carriers ( HMS ILLUSTRIOUS) Their job whilst at a Royal Naval Air Station is Firefighting I was based at the firestation for 3 years in RNAS Culdrose Cornwall. I now spend my life on the road it's like going on holiday every day of the week lol.

Good Night Tom

“Good night Tom” his mother had said with as much happiness as she could,

“Christmas tomorrow you don’t want Santa to know you’re awake or he won’t leave you anything”

Thomas snuggled down into his soft warm bed and smiled at his mum before asking,

“Is Santa coming here this year mum?”

“He is son. Me and dad gave him as much money as we could so hopefully he’ll bring you something you like”

“I’m sure he will mum”

His mum smiled and lent forward gently kissing him on the head,

“Good night Tom. I’ll go and put Santa’s mince pie on the kitchen table”

“Don’t forget the milk as well mum”

“I won’t don’t worry”

Thomas closes his eyes as his mum closes his bedroom door. She leaves the landing light on and makes her way quietly back downstairs. The small house is decorated with tinsel and there’s a small tree in the corner. Beneath the tree are brightly wrapped gifts of various sizes,

“How’s it looking?” Tom’s mother asked his father, who was busily arranging the gifts beneath the tree,

“Not bad” he replied,

“There are not many again this year though is there?” she said sadly,

“No but you know Tom, he’ll be happy no matter what he gets”

“I suppose. Don’t you wish we could give him more?”

“Of course I do. I want him to have the same as all the kids.”

Toms father stands and puts his arms around his wife,

“At least he has two loving parents. There are not many kids that can say that nowadays is there?”

The two hold each other beneath the tree as the small lights upon it flicker on and off. The many baubles and pieces of tinsel are oddly placed thanks to Tom being allowed to decorate it this year.

He was now six and old enough to do it himself. Except for the angel, the angel had been placed there by his father in what had become somewhat of a tradition. Tom and his mother had set the tree up that day whilst his father was at work. Tom had then had a great time decorating the tree under his mother’s watchful eye. All day it had taken him. Every bauble placed with care, every length of tinsel placed in exactly the right place. Each tiny bulb of the fairy lights placed just in the right spot so as to illuminate the baubles and other ornaments of the tree. Then finally his dad came home around six. He went up into the loft and brought down an old box wrapped in Christmas paper. Tom knew the angel was inside as his dad slowly opened it. Tom sat and watched as his dad took it from the box very carefully. Handling it like the precious old object that Tom knew it was. The feathers of the angels wings were real birds feathers, the dress she wore was made of real silk and lace, her smile warmed Tom all the way through. It had been tradition that each person kissed the angels cheek before it was placed upon the tree. Delicately Tom’s dad kissed the cheek and held it for Toms mum. Toms mum kissed the angels cheek and his dad moves it to Tom. Tom leans forward and kisses the cheek very carefully. The cold porcelain almost feels soft and skin like beneath his lips. Tom moves away and his father very slowly and carefully places it upon the top of the small tree. Beneath her a ring of fairy lights await to illuminate her,

“Are you ready for switch on?” Tom’s father had asked,

Tom and his mother sat on the sofa in front of the tree and nodded,

“Three, two, one, Switch on!”

Tom’s father flicked the switch of the plug socket and the lights had all came on. Some flicker gently whilst others stay on constantly. The small ring beneath the angel lit her up as though she was a real angel sat on a cloud in heaven looking upon us all. Tom felt proud that he had done the tree this year. Even his mum admitted it looked beautiful.

The two held each other beneath the oddly decorated tree. The angel sat atop looking over them. The cheap fabric, fake feathers and poorly painted face lit by the glow of the tiny fairy lights,

“I just wish we could give him the Christmas he believes in. With all the magic and the joy” Toms mother whispers,

“I know you do. I wish for that every year. But we have to make do with what we have. Come on let’s set up the kitchen and go to bed.”

Out in the kitchen Tom’s father takes a bite from a mince pie and leaves it on a plate. His mother pours a little milk into a glass and swirls it around and pours it back into the bottle. She puts the glass next to the mince pie and them both head up to bed.

Tom wakes. Its Christmas morning already. Half the night he tried to stay awake and hear Santa’s sleigh bells. He runs into his parent’s room but finds the bed empty. Down the stairs he can see a warming glow of the front room light. He rushes downstairs and finds his parents sitting on the sofa. From the kitchen he can smell the Christmas dinner cooking and he heads in to see if Santa has taken the mince pie and milk that were left for him,

“Mum, mum” he shouts excitedly,

“Look he’s bitten the mince pie and drank the milk! Why does he only have a bite of the mince pie though? If I were him I’d eat it all!”

“well Tom if he ate all the mince pie in every house he goes to he’d end up to fat to fit down the chimney.” His mum replies,

“And then you wouldn’t get any presents at all.” His dad adds.

Tom sees the presents under the tree and dives sits beside them inspecting each one. In the last year he’d started reading good enough to know who each gift was for and so he decides to be the official gift hander outer.

“First this is for you mum” he says handing her a small oblong shaped gift. She unwraps it carefully and sees it’s a jewellery box. She opens it up and inside is a beautiful silver necklace. The pendant of which is a heart with I love you etched on its face. A tear wells in her eyes and she looks to Tom’s father, who is smiling broadly,

“Do you like it?” he asks,

“I love it” she takes it from the box and hangs it around her neck. Tom forages under the tree,

“Here’s one for you dad” he hands the big soft gift to his father who quickly opens it. Inside is a thick woollen, plain black jumper. He holds it up against his chest,

“I thought you could wear it at work” Tom’s mother says,

“I will. It’ll keep me lovely and warm in the winter. Thank you my love” He says as he folds it and places it carefully on the arm of his chair. Tom forages beneath the tree looking for another gift to hand out,

“There’s only ones for me left” he says sadly,

“That’s ok Tom, me and your father asked him to give most to you cause of how good you’ve been this year.”

Tom begins to open his gifts up. Very slowly picking which to open and then carefully taking the paper off each one. Each of his six gifts are soon lined up in front of him on the floor. Three new cars, one new pair of his favourite cartoon characters pyjamas, a new school bag and his main gift. A brand new radio controlled monster truck. He could barely contain his excitement as he tore the box open and got it out. Santa had even put batteries in the box for him as well. For the rest of the day he had fun using the huge radio controlled beast to crush and smash his other smaller cars. Down in the living room his parents watch all manner of Christmas shows on TV. The dinner is eaten and drinks are all drunk. Soon it’s bed time and both parents see their son to bed,

“Did you have a nice Christmas day Tom?” his mother asks sitting on his bedside,

“Yes mum. I love my new monster truck. It’s good at smashing things.”

“Good I’m glad. We’ll go and see Nana tomorrow. Maybe Santa left you something with her too.”

As his mum leans forward to kiss his forehead Tom throws his arms around her and whispers in her ear,

“I love you mummy. Thank you for everything”

A tear fills his mum’s eye as she holds him as tight as she can. This little man she loves so much. He never moans or grumbles. He never tantrums, His heart is so gentle and pure. One day she’ll give her son the Christmas he deserves. With all the magic and the joy. Until then she’ll give him her love and an unspoken promise that she will always be there for him,

“Good night Tom”

hi i wonder if anyone can help..i use to be able to delete comments on my page...there use to be an option under each one now that option is no longer there...ive checked in the settings/mange items part of my account but it seems i can only delete comments ive made on others pages...is there something i can do to get the delete option back?...I would appreciate any help before my page explodes lol..there is nearly 200 now surely there must be a limit lol

Angel Of Death

An aging man rested his whitened head,

His frail aged body lay within his bed,

He drifted in to eternal sleep,

Awaiting there death to meet.

“I Know who you are” the old man cried,

“You’re the greeter of all who’ve died,

You come to each and every one,

No matter all the good they’ve done”

The spirit looked deep into the man,

And moved ever closer as he began,

His voice so hushed in gently tone,

To make the dead feel less alone.

“I am Death and I do come to all,

No judgement I make of any who fall,

The good and the evil all take my hand,

As I ease them in to their final land”

The old man felt a little more ease,

“Have no fear I have Phlegyas fees”

Death said with outstretched hand,

“For your glass has now run out of sand”

The old man begged with his eyes so hurt,

“Please just one more hour left on earth?

The hereafter to me holds no single fear,

But allow me farewell to those held dear”

Death felt moved by this soul so kind,

Death took his hand and he was there,

Every day now i'm getting Ghanaian/Nigerian women writing me some get-me-into-your-country message. I've had this before when i've had a profile on another site.

They all come out with the same spiel! It goes something like this -

Please send an email to my email address whatever dot com, and i will send you my picture for you to know whom i am. I believe we can move from here. Please send an email to my email address above. Remember that distance or colour do not matter but love matters a lot in life.

Unless its one spammer that sends these out all day, creating new edresses all the time, there must be loads at it. You can block them on your own account but different ones keep trying. I've had them Instant Messaging me as well, i spoke to one and she really thought i'd buy her a plane ticket!!

So watch out folks. Any one with similar experiences?

for those of you who asked for the good 'old' days they too will be coming back with power cuts, food shortages,rationing etc it's only a matter of time before we get teh pund down just below the uero where we wil be forced to lose it and accpet the euro is our coin of the state ( not coin of the realm). On a happy note we will see many more homes build across UK to accomodate the rising influx of immigrants sadly your taxes will have to increase to acomodate all this. But hey ..its a 'democracy' where the first past teh pos wins even if its fiddled.

The Lake

I sit beside a lake in the evening sun.

The birds evening song softly begun.

The sun shone it’s friendly last,

I went to see Taken with Liam Neeson last week (nt WITH Liam Neeson, but Liam Neeson as in he was the main character). It wasn't the type of film I would normally go and see but it was quite enjoyable - it even made me laugh in some places, but I'm sure that wasn't the director's intention lol! What I like about Neeson is that he hardly ever does accents - he played a German with an Irish accent, and in Taken he played.... well I guess an American with an Irish accent! Good on ya Liam!

I have an ongoing problem in the cam room. Some nights I can go in and my cam works fine, others it freezes. This wouldnt be a problem really if it were not for the fact that it then seems to freeze my whole pc system. I can come out of woc but when i go to turn off my pc it refuses and the only way i can do this is to turn off at the plug. not healthy! I have cleared cookies etc, downloaded the correct flashplayer but all to no avail. I dont understand why some nights I can be in the chat room for a couple of hours and yet on other ocassions only for 5 mins ...... Help!

admin have been saying that not enough care and attention is being given to newbies and im assuming thats why only the newbies room has been open for the last week or so. so how about regs have to spend 15 mins or so in newbies before they can access the lounge? i dont know if thats possible to set up or not mr woc but its a thought. in so doing every reg would be around to speak to newbies for a while before they can move on to their normal room.

ok as the title says only good vibes on this 1 please we av all had great days an great memories.. iv got a few but will do 1 to get the ball rolling... the day i got my first drum kit... i was 11 at the time i first saw it..an jus fell in love wiv this 5piece kit..it was white wiv see thru skins god i wanted it soooo bad had always bin bangin an tappin things from an early age.. i was wiv my dad at the time and he could tell i really wanted it..so after bein dragged from the shop..an gettin home he sat me down an asked me how much it was, 300 pound i sed..now this was in the 80s so it was alot of muney..an he sed well if u want the drum kit u gotta work for it...so long story short i worked my ass off for a year or so doin every odd job around home i cud an even neighbours jobs, i didnt think i was ever gonna get there, then 1 day my dad sed i think u got enough money now lets go look at it shall we...god i was sooo excited i was 12 now. we went to shop i rushed upstairs to see my kit..an there was a sold sign on it......... my heart sank then the guy in the shop came up to me an handed me a pair of drum sticks an jus sed enjoy them son an smiled... gawd i was sooo happy wot a great day an its a lovely memory to me..

Ok thanks to all you brain dead tosspot losers who think its fun to break the rules of this chatroom, you have nearly succeeded in what i guess you set out to do, sabotage what is a great room run by some hardworking caring people who just wanted to create a site that was safe and friendly to use.

There is no need to have to exchange e mail addies or phone numbers, yes i found it difficult to get my head round as well, its nice to be able to stay in touch outside of the chatroom when you make such lovely friends, but the ban is there for a reason, its to keep people safe and to keep the chat friendly and non aggressive amd to keep one person from hassling another. there are people out there ya know that find it hard to chat to others even online and to be bombarded with requests for email addresses and personal info can frighten them off from ever trying to make contact with people online again.

So for those "regulars" who have decided the rules do not apply to them, sod off your no longer welcome, and trust me you ever try coming back you have got more people watching out for you than you can imagine, we are not about to let you ruin woc,tara and holly's hard graft for nothing, we may not be hosts, but by christ we are going to act like them.

And that goes for any "newbies" who try to be smartarses as well.

I was out for a swim at a public pool the next town over from where i lived. I was staying the night at a friends house and was planning on going home the next morning. We were at the pool for about an hour or so and we decided to see who could make the biggest splash. we got a running start and went for it. I hit the water so hard i sunk straight to the bottom. A few minutes later the lifegaurd called everyone out for routine cleaning of the pool. We went to the snackbar and i felt a little draft but didnt think anything of it since it was a windy day..."why is everyone looking at me funny?" i asked. We both kindof looked around and as i turned around my friend came to me with a towel and started walking me to the shower room. When i hit the bottom of the pool my bathing suit rubbed up against something rough and ripped a big hole in my bottoms!

so the entire pool got a good look at my back side that day lmao...well i can laugh about it now anyways.

If your wanting to add some colour to your page, or if you've put a background picture up like mine, and your wanting to get rid of all the boxes so you can see your picture, here's how to do it.

Click on 'my account' then 'settings' and then 'design my profile'.

it'll show you boxes of colour. Simply click on the colours you wish to change, and if your wanting them transparent, click on the translucent option.

Went to see Kung Foo Panda this morning and omg I was in stitches. I don't normally go for computer animated films but am glad I decided to watch this. The effects were awesome and the people chose for voice overs were just right for the characters. If you have a spare few hrs go see it.

Any of you guys have as much luck as me with boy/girl friends? I have no luck what-so-ever. I seem to go for the same type who are no good. Ok when i was 9 i went to stay at my nan nans house in barnsley, and my cus was best mates with seth armstrongs(From emmerdale) daughter, so i stayed at his house for the night and went shopping with him and his wife the nxt day.

Well guys, my most embarrasing moment was when I was about 17-ish. I was a waitress in a brewers fayre/brewsters. And I had 3 plates full of food in my arms. Casually walking out of the swing doors, from the kitchen into the restaurant. Un-be-known to me, someone had split a drink on the tiles. Which, you can imagine, were mega slippy. I decked it, good and proper. All 3 plates shot up in the air, and came flying back down, covering the floor. There was chicken and gravy everywhere. I went a right shade of purple! Just to top it off, a kind bloke came running up to help me back to my feet. But cos the floor was now covered with food aswell as someone's drink, I got so far up, and fell back down on my knees. By this time, I was nearly in tears. Bless this guy though. He made sure I got up okay. I couldn't thank him enough afterwards lol. Then, the staff who I was working with, made me go the the table, and speak to the customers, who's food I dropped. To apologise and tell them what I'd done. And just to add insult to ingury, they were my bloody neighbours! Soon as I'd done the deed, I legged it into the staff room toilet and cried. Fortunately noone so me cry. Cos I didn't want people to think I was mardy. So I just tried my best to laugh it off. One good thing was at the next staff meeting, I got an award for the best fall, and a bottle of wine for the entertainment value lol. What can I say, I always try my best lol. I felt soooooooo humiliated. But there yer go! xxxx
